Surprise
It was a surprise that on February 1, 2010 we have discovered that we are listed on Trip Advisor until today (May 2, 2010) still the No.1 restaurant in Boracay. We thank all the satisfied customers who took the time to make the review.
Special Occasion
Sometimes on occasion, special orders can me made at the guest’s request. Very good friends for more than 30 years, Keywan and Martin came to visit the island for a reunion after 20 years. Therefore the owner, Marcus did all to please them with special orders of seafood. According to them it was an unforgettable two weeks, especially with their great time at Mama’s Restaurant.
Roasted Pig
Last August 21 here at Mama's Restaurant Boracay, our new found friend Gary Pudney celebrated his birthday. And as a birthday gift, he requested to have a roasted pig prepared and done before the night of his birthday. And to make it extra special, he wanted to begin the preparation by doing the first kill by himself. Things turned out absolutely well, the pig is roasted on time, it is well prepared on a large table, Gary had the honor of providing the first slice. On the subject of food
Food writers from the Manila Bulletin visted Mama's Restaurant Boracay last Saturday on August 29, interviewed the staff and the chef and eveybody had a great time. Thanks to Amanda Tirol for bringing in these nice people at Mama's Restaurant. Food articles will be out at the travel section of the Manila Bulletin on Spetember 9.
